Interests
My current research interests involve the investigation and simulation of light interactions with organic and inorganic materials, aiming at theoretical and
practical contributions to computer graphics, remote sensing, applied optics and engineering. I am also interested in computational biology, particularly in the use of simulations to advance the current knowledge about biological systems, aiming at biomedical and biophotonics aplications.
